Rogelio Hernandez wanted to have his pool done in time to have a Fiesta party...Fiesta 2012. Maybe he'll have it in time for Fiesta 2013. Hernandez bought his pool and hot tub from Splashtime Pools. The owner recommended one of two concrete contractors.

Hernandez went with Marin Pools because they said they could get the job done faster. It's not the first time we've done a story involving Miguel and Daniel Marin Jr. They drug their feet on repairing a pool for another local woman.

Hernandez says he paid the Marin brothers more than $4,000 for a six-foot apron around his pool and more concrete around his new hot tub. He says the Marins got on the job pretty quickly...then just stopped showing up. Then they would show up again...then disappear for another week or two.

One evening, they told Hernandez they were going to pour the concrete the next day. Hernandez says the Marin's asked for most of the remaining money on the contract, to pay for the concrete. The concrete didn't show up the next morning and Hernandez says he hasn't seen the Marins since.

That's when he called us.

We tried to call both Miguel and Daniel Marin Jr, but neither answer. We then tracked them both to different addresses they had used, but neither lived at the address they had listed. So we tracked down Daniel Marin Sr. He was angry and immediately called Daniel Jr.

Dad put Junior on the phone with us. Daniel Jr. promised he would call Hernandez . He did. He told Hernandez he and his brother would be at the Hernandez home either Thursday or Friday of that week.

As you probably expect, they didn't show up. Daniel Jr. also told us he would be on the Hernandez job within the next week. We told him...we'll show up and check. We'll let you know what happens.
