Kristin Lubas had every detail of her wedding planned. She hired Joel Ramos photography, who took her engagement pictures and her bridal photo for the wedding table.
She married May 14th, 2011. Everything was perfect, or so she thought.
A couple of months after the wedding Lubas and her new husband called Joel Ramos and told them which photos they wanted for their wedding album…then waited. Today, more than 8 months later they’re still waiting.
When the next month went by, without any word from Ramos, Kristin began calling but there was never an answer. She left message after message, as did her new husband and her mother. January of 2012 they called Eyewitness wants to know.
We tracked Joel Ramos to his home, but when we knocked on the door no one answered. 5 minutes after we left Ramos’ home our cell phone rang but no one on the other end would speak.
We called the number back and the answering machine for Joel Ramos Photography picked up.
The next day we went back to the home and again no one answered the door.
Within 20 minutes Ramos’ attorney brother called us. We told him we wanted to speak with Joel about the Labus wedding pictures.
He promised to cal Joel and have him call back.
Within 15 minutes our phone rang again and it was Joel Ramos.
He explained he and his wife had some serious medical issues which prevented him from finishing the Labus wedding pictures. He said after so much time had passed, he was embarrassed to call Labus, but promised he would.
He also promised to have them finished in the next four weeks. We’ll let you know when she receives them.
