Johnny Pual bought a card wash card from Texas Shine car was, to make it easier to care for his handicap accessible van.
Paul was having it hand-washed because it's too tall to fit into a car wash tunnel, but then the drought came. The city of Schertz stopped all hand-washing. Then when the drought ended and hand washing was allowed again, Schertz passed an ordinance that all water had to be recycled. That prevented Texas Shine from doing the hand washing at it's FM 3009 location...which is where Paul was having his van washed.
When Paul began asking the folks at Texas Shine about the $300 he had put on his car wash card, and how they would fulfill his needs, he thought they were telling him they weren't going to hand wash anymore.
But what Texas Shine says they told Paul was that they couldn't hand wash at that location. Paul filed a suit in small claims court to get his money back. He also called Eyewitness Wants To Know.
After we met with Mike Preetorius at Texas Shine, Mike agreed to hand wash Paul's van at any of the other Texas Shine locations if Paul would drop the suit.
The suit was dropped, Texas Shine is shining Paul's van and everybody is happy.
