Young cancer survivor surprised with trip to Paris

Cancer survivor going to Paris

A 9-year-old who beat cancer is now packing her bags to go to Paris!

The Make A Wish Foundation surprised Aida Cordeau and her twin sister at Maggiano's and let them know they'd be going on the surprise trip to France.

KENS 5's Karen Grace met Aida when she was 5 years old and battling blood cancer. Grace was volunteering, and the two became inseparable.

A year ago, Aida took her last chemo pill! Doctors say she is cured.

She also has very highbrow taste and asked her parents to go to Paris to celebrate. Now, her wish came true!

The pint-sized princess already is involved in raising money so that other kids like her can overcome cancer.

She created "Aida's Army," which helps to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
