People that live on the 1200 block of Lombrano in the Lincoln Heights Courts area say it's a working class place where someone is always afoot, watching everything that moves.
Nobody in this close community would talk on camera about their concerns, but Off camera, neighbors had plenty to say about the man accused of gunning down police Detective Ben Marconi on Sunday.
Almost everyone agreed that Otis McKane was a quiet neighbor who kept to himself.
While many in the area socialize on porches, they say McKane rarely spoke.
Except for the custom rims and wheels on his car, they say that he never did anything to draw attention to himself.
One woman said that while she never considered McKane a threat, given the accusation he faces, she's glad his bond is $2 million.
