SAN ANTONIO -- In all, 250 Turkeys and 250 bags of Thanksgiving fixins were doled out this afternoon to families in need.
The feasts came together thanks to a nearly decade-long partnership between The Argo Group and the Family Service Association.
"Thanksgiving is about giving thanks and it's a family holiday," said Argo communications leader David Snowden. "We hope they can sit around the table together and give thanks and enjoy their time with each other."
One of those families is Jessica Sepulveda, her boyfriend, and her four kids. They'll be having Thanksgiving on Tuesday because she works the holiday. Still, it's a meaningful time for them.
"It means be thankful," she said. Her boyfriend followed up: "It means a lot man. It means a lot."
