When it rains it pours, and you can say that is literally the case for area fireworks vendors who despite the weather are staying busy.
It may be nasty and wet outside but at Alamo Fireworks they are not complaining, and neither are customers.
Despite the rain, the place has been hopping with business for several hours.
The last Fourth of July there were plenty of restrictions on the sale and usage of fireworks due to drought conditions. As a result, the manager at Alamo Fireworks says they couldn't sell 70 percent of their merchandise.
But now everything is for sale. He says it's the best season in 4 years.
Even though there are no bans or restrictions on fireworks sales, the Fire Marshals Office says they will be out in full force once again enforcing laws.
