San Antonio visitors had a early morning scare after a bomb threat was reported at a historic downtown hotel.
A phone call about the bomb threat sent San Antonio police to the Menger Hotel at Alamo Plaza at around 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The manager immediately had the guests relocated and SAPD called in a bomb squad to secure the premises.
"They came. They performed a visual check of the hotel itself, and then ran an explosives canine through who didn't give any indications that there was anything of a threat to anyone," said Sgt. Javier Salazar.
After police gave the hotel an all-clear, guests were allowed to return to their rooms.
