Alicia Neaves is a San Antonio native who graduated from Tom C. Clark High School in 2007.

Alicia graduated from the University of Evansville in Indiana in 2011 with a double-major in Spanish and Communication. While at UE, she interned for two semesters with the CBS News 25 sports department in Henderson, Ky. Her experience served as motivation to pursue a career in the broadcast industry.

Alicia returned to San Antonio after college and began her television career in production at News 4 San Antonio in 2011. She served as a production assistant for News 4 San Antonio Today and San Antonio Living, then moved to nightly news production, where she assisted with the development of graphics for each newscast.

Alicia's television career then took her to West Texas for two years, where she served as a bilingual reporter for NewsWest 9, the NBC affiliate, and Telemundo 20. She covered the "border beat" and also crossed the border to report from Ojinaga in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Alicia joined the KENS 5 team as a multimedia journalist in October 2015.

Her role models are her parents, Roland and Elsa Neaves. She has one baby brother, Isaac, and a Blue Heeler/Shepherd mix named Lucy.

Alicia is thrilled to be working in her hometown, sharing the most important news of the day with her friends and family in the best city in the world.
