Airman accused of 'slapping' baby's face, warrant states

SAN ANTONIO --  An airman was arrested and accused of slapping a baby in the face, according to an arrest warrant.

Brandon Breezley, 20, reportedly faces charges in connection with "bodily injury to a child."

He is an active duty member of the United States Air Force and assigned for Fort Sam Houston, according to the warrant.

Investigators said Breezley sent a text message to the 1-year-old victim's mother on Nov. 11, telling her he had slapped her son in the face and left a mark.

The warrant states Breezley is married to the victim's mother. She saw the bruise on the left side of the baby's face when she got home from work.

The baby boy had a large bruise shaped like a hand that covered the left side of his face, according to the warrant.

Investigators said the child also had a bruise on his forehead, and the injuries were photographed as evidence.
