SAN ANTONIO -- The West Nile virus has been detected at another military base in San Antonio.

Officials at Join Base San Antonio-Camp Bullis said three sample pools from a creek bed at the far north-side base tested positive for the virus on Aug. 23.

A second round of mosquito fogging was conducted early Friday morning at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, where at least 13 mosquito pool samples have tested positive for West Nile virus.

There has been only one confirmed West Nile-related death in Bexar County this year.
