Police believe they have nabbed a pair of thieves who have been breaking into vending machines across the state.

Authorities have arrested 34-year-old Jory Merill and 30-year-old Jaime Seeton. They are being held on two charges each of burglary of a coin-operated machine.

It began with a call from the Summer Bend Apartments about some suspicious activity.

When Seguin police arrived last Thursday, they reportedly caught one of the suspects in the act of breaking into a Coke machine.

Inside the suspects' car, police say they found hundreds of dollars in coins and a book that listed apartment complexes across the state.

The same complex was hit eight months ago, and surveillance video showed the identical car was used in both burglaries, investigators said.

The two suspects are from Arlington and are being held on $10,000 bonds.
