SAN ANTONIO -- A UTSA football player was suspended indefinitely from the team Monday according to an announcement from head coach Larry Coker.

Senior defensive end Will Ritter was suspended following an arrest at a bar in Austin over the weekend.

Ritter was arrested early Sunday morning for assault with injury and public intoxication.  According to a warrant, Austin police said Ritter punched two females and a male at the Blind Pig Pub on 6th street.

Ritter's bail was reportedly set at 5-thousand dollars.

"We are aware of the incident involving Will Ritter and he is suspended indefinitely form all team activities while we review the matter," said Coker in a statement.
