SAN ANTONIO -- Two high-profile NBA couples are on the outs. KENS 5 has learned Tony Parker and Eva Longoria are not the only ones getting a divorce.
The Chicago Bulls are in town Wednesday night to play the Spurs, but all everyone is talking about is the big break-up. Now KENS 5 has learned exclusively that former Spurs player Brent Barry and his wife Erin will soon be in divorce court, as well.
After rumors of a divorce between actress Eva Longoria-Parker and San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker circulated Tuesday, Longoria-Parker filed for divorce Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
In documents obtained by KENS 5, Longoria-Parker cited "irreconcilable differences." Also on Wednesday, Longoria-Parker posted on Twitter that "it's with great sadness...that I have decided to divorce."
Meantime, KENS 5 has learned exclusively from close friends of the Parkers that the Barrys are also splitting.
Former Spur and sports commentator Brent Barry has filed a petition for divorce. In it, he states that he and his wife, Erin, have "ceased to live together as husband and wife," and he also cites the cause as irreconcilable differences.
