A pair of officers in the city of Elmendorf, located south east of San Antonio, have been suspended for breaking department rules.
Elmendorf police confirm two of its three full-time officers are suspended due to what the department says are multiple failures to follow procedure.
The department wouldn't specify what the officers are accused of doing, or not doing, but say the allegations go back as far as June 25, 2012.
"We did do an investigation which is going through right now. And ultimately, City Council is going to make the final decision tonight on their disciplinary actions. It could stem from probation to termination," said a department official.
In the mean time, Bexar County deputies are helping the Chief of Police patrol Elmendorf.
