SAN ANTONIO -- Not a single street in a north-side subdivision was spared by a tire-slashing vandal early Wednesday morning.
Bo McCarter assessed the damage Wednesday afternoon as he drove around the Redland Ridge subdivision. Some cars sat on the flat tires, while others were already on jacks, awaiting new tires.
"A lot of upset people," he said.
The senseless crime was the talk of the neighborhood as resident stopped one another to express their anger and bafflement.
"Its just ridiculous," Ray Ramirez said. "I don't know why anyone would do this."
As many as 50 cars were hit. Even for people whose tires were spared, they are also taking action, hoping to find whoever is responsible.
"Keep our eyes open," McCarter said.
