Texas death row inmates are suing over conditions at the Allen B. Polunsky Prison in Livingston, north of Houston.

The federal suit demands more food choices and cable TV at tax payers' expense.

Prison officials fired back, saying inmates are provided with nutritious meals and adequate amenities.
