A major face lift is under way at the San Antonio International Airport.

New eateries, upgraded restrooms and six new escalators are being built at the 30-year-old Terminal A.

The new look  will match that of Terminal B, which opened two years ago.

The renovation is expected to take 18 months to complete.

In the time being, airport officials say they are doing everything possible to ensure the project doesn't inconvenience the flying public.
