SAN ANTONIO -- A student at Taft High School is accused of making a false alarm. Northside ISD police said the teen was talking about a school shooting to take place on campus.
Investigators quickly determined the threat was false and said the teen admitted to making a false alarm.
All parents were notified shortly after school on Friday via text message, phone and email.
Lateef Anderson was taken into custody Friday night. The eleventh-grader has since been released on a $5,000 bond.
NI SD said after his release, Anderson would be suspended from Taft.
