A San Antonio woman is facing up to life in prison for the death of her estranged husband.
On Monday a jury convicted 49-year-old Beatrix Perez of beating 73-year-old Juan Abitu to death.
Abitu's body was found in 2007 in his north-side apartment.
He had suffered massive head injuries.
Investigators believe the murder may have been brought on by jealousy.
