It happened again Thursday night: another pet store robbery. This time the robbery took place at the PetsMart on DeZavala and I-10.
Police say a man went in, robbed the cashier and left.
Robbing pet stores seems to be the popular thing to do for criminals - or, maybe, just one criminal.
Police believe one crook is responsible for a recent rash of pet-store robberies.
The robberies appear to have begun around 8 p.m. November 12, when a cashier at the Petco on Bandera and 1604 said they were robbed at gunpoint. No one was injured.
On November 25, SAPD responded to a call about a robbery at the Petco at Loop 410 and Ingram, near Ingram Park Mall.
The Petco on Bandera and 1604 was hit by robber at about 6:50 p.m. Monday, December 7.
In each of these hold-ups, the robber was armed, wore a yellow bandanna, and drove a maroon four-door Honda Civic.
Now, police are asking for your help finding the criminal.
If you know anything about these robberies, call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. You could earn a crash reward.
