A San Antonio police officer had a rough night during the overnight downpour.
He said he was on the access road of Highway 90 and Pinn Road when his cruiser was sideswiped by a car trying to enter an intersection under high water.
The officer was blocking the intersection due to high water when a blue Tahoe reportedly decided to go around him.
Authorities were able to catch up to with the driver a little while later a few blocks away.
She was taken into custody under suspicion of DWI. Her male passenger was arrested on outstanding warrants.
