Two San Antonio teens spent one terrifying night home alone after their house was invaded by two armed men overnight.

SAPD officers said a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were home alone when a robbery unfolded in the 700 block of Coronet on the north side.

Police said two armed men broke in through a kitchen window at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The home invaders terrorized the kids and threatened them with a gun and knife before tying them up with rope, police said.

The suspects forced them to lie face down on the floor. Police said the suspects threatened to kill the teens if they called police.

The children's mother returned while the robbers were ransacking the place and ran outside to call police.

A frightened neighbor said he woke up to all the commotion.

Police said the suspects escaped with a sack full of electronics and money. The kids were not injured.

Officers found blood at the scene and said they believe one of the suspects was injured.
