Authorities have reported that a female in a black Ford Escape ran down a 16-year-old male at around 3:45 a.m. Sunday near Clark Avenue and Rigsby Avenue.
The teen suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Police say the suspect left the scene but was later found.
They are continuing to investigate.
