SAN ANTONIO -- A man found fatally shot in the head outside a north-side apartment complex early Friday morning has been identified.
Residents at the Park at Walker's Ranch Apartment Homes at 14555 Blanco Road reported hearing more than a dozen shots around 2 a.m.
Officers responded and found 38-year old Robert Cedillo face-down in the street with several gunshot wounds to his head and body. Police said the victim was on the ground next to his wallet and several feet from his vehicle. They believe the victim was visiting a girlfriend who lived at the complex.
A witness has come forward with information for police.
"He said he was across the street when he heard some shots fired," say Officer Matt Porter with SAPD. "He told officers he saw a male jump over a brick wall, get into a dark-colored vehicle and flee the scene."
