The San Antonio Fire Department has taken one of its own off the streets.
Kevin Lee Cyrus was arrested and charged with DWI. SAPD officers said they found Cyrus passed out in his car Saturday at the intersection of MacArthur View and MoPac.
Cyrus is a fire engineer and paramedic with SAFD.
The 16-year veteran will stay on desk duty while an internal investigation is conducted.
