SAN ANTONIO -- A 42-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly flashing a laser at a police helicopter.
David Chavez was arrested on Wednesday night and booked on a federal charge of aiming a laser at an aircraft.
San Antonio police said their Eagle helicopter was searching for a missing child when someone pointed a laser at the aircraft.
The pilot was able to pinpoint where the laser was coming from, police said, and led officers right to Chavez.
