BULVERDE -- A 7-year-old girl was killed and four more people were injured when their minivan was broadsided on Monday morning.
Police said the van's driver was trying to enter Highway 46 from Blanco Road and didn't see an oncoming Jeep until it slammed into the side of the van.
The youngest passenger, who police identified as a 7-year-old girl from San Antonio, died in the crash. The four other passengers were injured.
The driver of the Jeep and her passenger were both shaken up but uninjured.
