Police say a registered sex offender was caught while performing a lewd act at a local water park.
New Braunfels police say Jerry Ray Perez was found exposing himself in the the Schlitterbahn parking lot as children entered the park.
According to the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung a person sitting on an elevated picnic table spotted Perez sitting in his truck while performing the act.
The 50-year-old has been charged with indecent exposure. He was released on a $2,000 bond.
According to authorities Perez was one of three men arrested in New Braunfels over the weekend for exposing themselves.
