SAN ANTONIO -- Scraped and bruised, a young teen from Poteet says she was shoved and bullied by several football players on her way home from school.

Jazmine Delgado, 14, said she was cutting through the high school football field when about 10 football players shoved her and kicked her to the ground, bruising and scraping her shoulder, palms and legs.

"I don't want to go back to school," the teen said.

Delgado's mom said bullying is a problem at the school and is demanding school administrators to take action.

"How can somebody do that to a female?" she said. "It makes me sad."

Delgado's mom said she received a call late Thursday from the school's athletics director. They set up a meeting to talk on Friday morning.
