SAN ANTONIO -- A police chase that reportedly started on Loop 1604 has come to a crashing end.

According to authorities,  police were on the heels of burglary suspects that led them from Loop 1604, near Judson to Gemini and Mindoro at about 1:30 p.m. Friday.

It came to an end near MacArthur High School causing officials to put the school in a soft lock-down. That meant students were not allowed outside until the lock-down was lifted at 2:15 p.m.

A neighbor said a suspect attempted to break into a home, but when police showed up three suspects fled. And the chase was on.

One person reportedly was captured; two others escaped. Those two are said to be teenagers, one black, one white.

No injuries were reported.

Police said they have increased patrols in the neighborhood due to a rise in the number of break-ins in the area.
