She would have turned 20 this month, but eight years ago 12-year-old Rosa Sandoval went missing. Months later her body was found.

Now investigators have released new details in the case in hopes of catching her killer.

Rosa was reported missing on May 28, 2004.

The 6th-grade student went missing from her home in the 8700 block of Seven Seas.
At the time, she was a student at Sky Harbour Elementary.

In December 2004, 7 months after her disappearance, Rosa's remains were found in the 11000 block of Kearney Road. More remains were discovered a month later.

As another anniversary date approaches, investigators area asking  for your help in solving the case.

In February, investigators said they had new information in the case. Now they are releasing new details.

Those details include a photo of a blue 1983 four-door Oldsmobile found in a junk yard.

In 2005, some time after her body was found, someone discovered the photo of Rosa inside the vehicle. In the photo Rosa was celebrating her birthday at home.

Investigators say sometimes people are more inclined to talk after some time has passed. If you can help detectives bring Rosa's killer to justice, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210 224-stop.

As always, tips may be left anonymously.
