Pharmacy the most gender-equal profession, says Harvard researcher

According to research conducted by a Harvard economist, pharmacy is the most equal job for men and women. The profession offers a six-figure salary in a fast-growing field. 

 
Women make up just slightly more than 50 percent of all full-time pharmacists, according to 2011 census data. When part-time workers are factored in, women comprise about 55 percent of the profession. 
 
Full time female pharmacists earn a median salary of $111,000 last year. That about 92 cents on the dollar of their male counterparts.
