Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in downtown San Antonio will stop treating adults next week as it transforms into a large new children's hospital. Wednesday they made it official.
In the 142 years the hospital has been around, it has been said that its people made it what it was, what it is, and what it will be. But this latest $400-million development will come at a cost.
The president of the Christus Health Care System says they will be laying off over 100 employees. He claims it will be good for the medical community.
