Police tracked down a San Antonio man who they say is linked to at least three robberies. They say they found him through text messages he had sent to a friend who was under arrest for drug possession.

As police reviewed his cell phone for evidence they came across texts from 20-year-old Marshall Aponte.

In one message, Aponte allegedly typed, "Just robbed the Exxon, two pistols and made 300 dollars."

Aponte is in the Bexar County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
