Want information about businesses in San Antonio? Now, there's a new app for that.
The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce has released a new app that runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry devices.
The free mobile application, a first for the chamber, is downloadable at www.mychamberapp.com.
"This is one of the coolest business promotion tools out there, because it takes our business directory, provides maps, website links and phone numbers of all our Chamber members and places it in anyone’s hand – anywhere you go," 2010 Chamber Chairman Carri Baker Wells said in a news release.
The business directory is the most visited area on the chamber's website (www.sachamber.org), so the app will provide another way for people to get this information in the palm of their hand, Chamber President and CEO Richard Perez said.
A business listing in the app is free to any chamber member, and it includes mapping capabilities and an automatic link to each member’s phone.
