The League of United Latin American Citizens, Mothers Against Discrimination, Racism in Education and Society, and the Cesar Chavez Legacy and Educational Foundation are making serious allegations against San Antonio ISD.
The groups report that a teacher who worked at the district for 26 years was discriminated against.
Their claims are based on a simple dispute over where the 59-year-old teacher was allowed to park her car.
The civil rights groups say she was told to leave campus and before she could get her personal belongings, a police officer detained her and eventually arrested her.
LULAC says the teacher was falsely arrested, subjected to police brutality and oppression, among other things.
SAISD has not yet commented on the accusations.
