SAN ANTONIO -- Investigators made a big drug bust in east Bexar County.  Narcotic officers recovered over 2,000 ecstasy pills, otherwise known as the "love drug."

The investigation all started with a suspicious package.

It was a Louisiana State trooper who spotted the questionable package. From there the DEA and U.S. Postal Service got involved.

The drugs were addressed to a home in the 8000 block of Peal. Right after the package arrived, deputies showed up at the front door.  They recovered more than 2,400 ecstasy pills, some disguised as sweet treats, from the home, with a street value of $60,000.

"They appear to be candy, which is why they are marketable to children," says Lt. Tammy Burr with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrested 29-year-old Deangelo Swindle of Georgia, 24-year-old Bryan Adams of California, and 23-year-old Erica Marble of San Antonio.  All three suspects face drug possession charges.  Detectives say all of the suspects have lengthy criminal histories.

But they are all at the Bexar County Jail now, and each faces a one $100,000 bond.
