It was a frightening afternoon for a San Antonio homeowner on the northeast side.
Authorities say at around 2 p.m. Thursday a car plowed into his house in the 4300 block of Knollshire.
The homeowner was in the back of the house, authorities say, and was able to escape through a window unharmed.
Damages estimates may be delayed as the car remains wedged in the home.
"We put supports to the structure on load-bearing walls, however when the tow truck takes it out, something could happen to it," said Battalion Chief Patrick Zepeda.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to an area hospital.
