Local high school students collected denim jeans to help out children who are homeless.
Highland High School's Go Green Club set a goal of collecting 1,500 pairs of jeans as part of the national Jeans for Teens campaign.
School officials said that one out of every three homeless people are teens.
They said the drive helped students realize how just a small act of kindness can go a long way to making you feel wonderful inside.
The students did, indeed, meet their goal, and now they have more than 1,500 jeans to donate.
