The San Antonio Spurs announced Monday that an open scrimmage will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, at the AT&T Center.
It's the first chance to see the 2013-14 Spurs team before their home preseason operner Oct. 9 against CSKA Moscow of the Russian League.
The scrimmage will have open seating on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the lower bowl of the arena. The event will be hosted by Spurs broadcaster Sean Elliott and will include appearances by the Spurs Coyote and the Silver Dancers.
The game will tip off at 2 p.m. Sunday. The team said there will be $1 hot dogs and drinks while supplies last, plus discount offers on merchandise. Fans also will have a chance to win the players’ practice jerseys following the scrimmage.
