SAN ANTONIO -- A small white car struck a male pedestrian in the 2600 block of Lombrano early Saturday morning and now police are looking for its driver.
Authorities said the victim was walking in the street shortly after 1 a.m. when he was hit. The driver fled on foot, but things got interesting when the owner of the vehicle showed up to let police know it was a friend who was driving.
The vehicle's owner could only provide the driver's name, but wasn't sure of their address.
As for the victim, he remains in stable condition at University Hospital.
