Mike Bacsik Jr., a former major-league pitcher who worked for KTCK (The Ticket 1310) as a talk-show host and producer, was fired Tuesday night, according to the Dallas Morning News.

On Monday, The Ticket had suspended Bacsik for comments he made on his personal Twitter account.

Tweeting on Sunday night about the Spurs' victory over the Mavericks, Bacsik blasted Spurs fans.

"Congrats to all the dirty Mexicans in San Antonio," he tweeted.

The station and Bacsik released statements Monday apologizing for the comment.
