Ten San Antonio families who lost a loved one in the War in Iraq are getting the V.I.P. treatment.
Not only are they flying free on American Airlines, they will get the chance to rub elbows with the Dallas Cowboys.
Children who lost a parent in the war not only get an all expenses paid trip from American Airlines, it's also very therapeutic.
"It's a great opportunity to recognize the children of our fallen heroes," said Donna Watts, a spokeswoman for American Airlines. Even the flight attendants volunteered their time.
"My youngest just turned two when she lost her father," said D.Funkaouser. Her husband Captain Alex Funkaouser died on Memorial Day in 2006.
"I think it really does help," she said. "We've all had the same loss and it's not your average loss. We are able to come together. It's a chance we get to see other families in the same position."
Altogether, 1,300 kids nationwide are meeting in Dallas and visiting the new stadium. The families are expected to return home on Sunday.
