Authorities say a cell phone conversation coul be to blame for a Loop 1604 accident during rush-hour traffic.

According to police at around 6 a.m. Friday a 20-year-old woman driving on Loop 1604 near Judson High School was talking on a cell phone and probably not paying attention to the road.

They said she ran into the back of an 18-wheeler. Her small car ended up almost completely lodged underneath the big-rig.

All northbound traffic was forced off the main lanes onto the access road.

The woman had to be Airlifted to University Hospital, but at this time her injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
