The mother of a missing boy last seen here in San Antonio was in court in Phoenix Wednesday.
Elizabeth Johnson asked the judge to fire her attorney Vanessa Smith. Johnson says Smith does not file the motions she requests and pressures her to do things she doesn't want to.
That request was denied.
Johnson is facing several charges in connection with the disappearance of her son, Gabriel.
The two were last seen here in San Antonio the day after Christmas, but authorities say Johnson is refusing to help find him.
A search of the Tessman Rd. landfill was called off last week when no evidence was found.
