A 61-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday after a gun misfired and shot him in the chest.
Bexar County deputies were called to 11011 Trout Ridge Drive around 11 a.m. on Sunday in report of a shooting.
Deputies said a 60-year-old man was handing a gun to his brother, 61, when it accidentally fired, hitting the man in the chest.
The victim was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center.
