SAN ANTONIO -- Law enforcement officers in Bexar and Comal counties are cracking down on driver who refuse to yield to emergency vehicles.

The "move over" law is intended to protect emergency responders, tow truck driver and transportation workers who have their lights activated. However, not everybody gives them a wide berth.

That's why police and sheriff's departments along I-35, I-10 and Loop 1604 will especially be looking out for violators.

The "move over" operation runs through Nov. 2.
