SAN ANTONIO -- Investigators on Tuesday searched a local tattoo parlor that is suspected of selling military equipment that was lifted from San Antonio military bases.

The U.S. Air Forces Office of Special Investigations, along with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, served seven search warrants at Platinum Tattoos, 2525 NW Loop 410.

Investigators said two active duty airmen conspired to steal tactical military equipment from base storage facilities and then sell the equipment at the tattoo shop.

Joint Base San Antonio spokesman Brent Boller said one airman and one civilian have been arrested, although their identities were not immediately available.

The search also resulted in seizure of additional military
property and illicit narcotics.

Records show that the tattoo parlor is owned by Noah Yuchnitz, son of a local businessman accused in a murder-for-hire plot.
