HOUSTON—Emergency responders had to extricate two men from a destroyed vehicle after an accident early Saturday morning.
Police say a car was traveling down 59 just south of Fondren around 3:30 a.m. when it hit a guardrail. It flipped, slammed into a light pole and split in half.
One person was thrown from the car. The driver and another passenger were trapped. HFD had to use the Jaws of Life to get them out.
All three were taken to the hospital for a variety of injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
